Katelyn Clenaghan is a native Texan from Weatherford. She began dancing at the age of four. She has trained at several small schools in the Fort Worth area until getting a traineeship with Texas Ballet Theater. Ms. Clenaghan has enjoyed performing roles in many of Ben Stevenson’s ballets. Among her favorites are Anitra in Peer Gynt, Myrta in Giselle, Flora in Dracula, and Cinderella in Cinderella. Her repertoire also includes leading roles in George Balanchine’s Serenade, Apollo, Allegro Brillante, and Theme and Variations; Evelyn in Val Caniparoli’s Lambarena and the Pas de Trois in Glen Tetley’s Voluntaries. This is Ms. Clenaghan’s seventeenth season with Texas Ballet Theater.
