Ruth Langill

Ruth Langill, originally from Sacramento, California, began training at Capitol Ballet Center under the direction of Stuart Carroll and Sharon Newton.  Ruth has also attended summer intensives on scholarship at Gabriels Daruash's, Ballet Magnificat!, State Street Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and Texas Ballet Theater.  Her favorite roles have included "Giselle" by Jules Perrot and Jean Coralli, Gabriela Daruash's "Grand Pas de Deux" in  The Nutcracker and "Black Swan Pas de Deux"  in Swan Lake after Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov staged by Carla Stallings-Lippert.  Ms. Langill would like to thank her teachers and family for all they have given her.  This is Ms. Langill's first season with Texas Ballet Theater.
