Originally from Fort Worth, Texas, Katelyn Rhodes, started her training at North Central School of Ballet and Trinity Valley School of Ballet, where she studied under Marina Almayeva. She continued her training at Texas Ballet Theater School and TCU, where she was a Nordan Fine Arts scholar. Some of her favorite roles include "Titania" in George Balanchine's A Midsummer Night's Dream, "Medora" in Le Corsaire by Marius Petipa and performing as a soloist in Susan Jaffe's Soundbars. When not dancing, Katelyn loves to play the piano, write short stories and serve in her church. Ms. Rhodes spent many years watching Texas Ballet Theater perform and after attending the Summer Intensive program for two years, she is proud to begin her first season with Texas Ballet Theater. Katelyn would like to thank her family and friends for their love and encouragement and give praise to Jesus Christ for this opportunity.
