In her second season with Texas Ballet Theater, Diana Peters began her professional training at The Ballet School of Stamford near her home town of Riverside, CT. At age 13, she was accepted to study at Canada’s National Ballet School (NBS) in Toronto, where she had the opportunity to work with international teachers year-round. After graduating from NBS with honors in 2009, Diana spent one year in their Post-Secondary Program before joining Tulsa Ballet II. Diana has attended summer programs at Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Kaatsbaan, NBS and has received scholarships for three summers at Chautauqua School of Dance, where in 2011, she earned an award for her choreography in the Student Workshop. Ms. Peters favorite productions include Marcello Angelini’s Swan Lake, John Cranko’s The Taming of the Shrew, Twyla Tharp’s Push Comes to Shove and Ben Stevenson's Peer Gynt. Diana is very grateful to her family and close friends for their constant love and support.
