Class Levels

Lower School. The Fort Worth Campus Lower School is designed for students beginning at age four; the Dallas Campus Lower School begins at age three. Studies include creative movement and pre-ballet training, focusing on coordination, motor skills, grace, flexibility, strength, rhythm, group interaction, and classroom etiquette. Advanced Lower School students will have a working knowledge of basic classical ballet positions and vocabulary.

Middle School. The School’s intermediate classes enter the pre-professional phase of classical ballet training. Students concentrate on technique and strength development. Faculty will educate students in proper positioning, body alignment and technical knowledge. Advanced Middle School students will begin pointe work upon approval of the School Principal.

Upper School. The advanced levels of study prepare students to enter the competitive world of professional classical ballet. Along with daily technique and pointe work, students are offered classes in variations, repertoire, modern and jazz. Students may have the opportunity to perform with Texas Ballet Theater.

Evaluations. Student-Teacher evaluations will be scheduled at the end of each school year for upper level students.
