Texas Ballet Theater is pleased to announce this year’s theme for The Fly Ball – Destination: Italy, to be held April 12. Serving as honorary chair is the award-winning actress Jane Seymour, O.B.E. Co-chairs are Laila Gleason and Daffan Nettle.

The hangars of Phazar Flight Support at Fort Worth’s Meacham International Airport provide the perfect jet-setting location for an over-the-top evening, beginning at 7:30 p.m. Seymour, the former Bond girl, will glamorously arrive at the ball via helicopter at 8:00 p.m. Revelers will view luxury jets, vintage aircraft and sleek Ferraris. Cocktail helicopter flights over downtown Fort Worth will be available for a $100 donation to Texas Ballet Theater, courtesy of Brian Dunaway’s Epic Helicopters. A six-foot-long Ketel One martini bar made entirely of ice will feature Italian-themed drinks, followed by seated dinner catered by George. Music will feature Johnny Reno and the Lounge Kings during cocktail hour, followed after dinner by dancing and musical entertainment by Professor D.
