Rising Stars of Texas Ballet Theater School,
Dallas Campus,  Stage a Special Performance
at Irving Performing Arts Center

Cocktail reception benefiting Texas Ballet Theater School follows performance


North Texas – Ben Stevenson, artistic director of Texas Ballet Theater, today announced the Youth Ensembles of Texas Ballet Theater School’s Dallas Campus will stage a special Workshop Performance at
7 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2007 at Irving Performing Arts Center, 3333 North MacArthur Boulevard.  Acclaimed Texas Ballet Theater artists André Silva and Peter Zweifel have each choreographed dynamic new works for the ensemble members.

A cocktail reception benefiting the Dallas Campus of Texas Ballet Theater School will be held in the lobby of the Irving Performing Arts Center following the performance.  Performance tickets are $15; tickets to the reception are $50.  For more information or to purchase tickets, patrons may call 214-369-5200, ext. 138 or

It is the long-standing goal of Artistic Director Ben Stevenson to develop a school of national and international importance supplying the North Texas community with professional instruction in the art of classical ballet.  The Dallas Campus of Texas Ballet Theater School offers Classical Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, Pas de Deux, Adult Ballet and Lyrical classes; the Fort Worth Campus includes classes in Classical Ballet, Modern and Jazz offering students a well-rounded dance education.
