TRUSTS & FOUNDATIONS

Trusts and foundations play a crucial role in fulfilling the mission of Texas Ballet Theater. Private funding supplements our annual fund and allows us to further expand our work.

Generous gifts from trusts and foundations enable us to attract and entertain a larger audience by performing at affordable prices, develop the art form, expand our education and outreach programs, and promote the appreciation of ballet to people of all ages from diverse backgrounds.

Texas Ballet Theater works with trusts and foundations in various ways. We constantly need support so that we can:

  • Provide a vibrant mix of performances, including audience favored works as well as contemporary and newly commissioned works
  • Enhance our technical and production facilities
  • Engage young people and their families in ballet activities
  • Create and expand innovative educational programs that reflect the diverse North Texas population
  • Support ballet education and life-long appreciation of the art of ballet
  • Support the development of emerging dancers through ballet training academies and summer intensive workshops
  • Offer formal apprenticeships to trainee dancers
  • Welcome first-time audiences in an accessible and engaging manner
  • Explore touring opportunities not only to local regions that have limited arts provision, but also to national and international locales
  • Restore celebrated productions of classical repertoire and produce new works
  • Attract and retain dancers of the highest quality and provide them with the resources they need to develop as artists

Trusts & Foundations generously support many of our Education Outreach programs. To learn more about these programs, please click here.
