Ben Stevenson, O.B.E.

In April 2002, Ben Stevenson, O.B.E., stepped into the role of Artistic Advisor, with Timothy O'Keefe serving as Assistant to the Artistic Advisor. One year later, in July of 2003, Mr. Stevenson agreed to join the Company as full-time Artistic Director. It was in 2003 that Fort Worth Dallas Ballet officially became Texas Ballet Theater.

In addition to the existing Fort Worth Academy, Texas Ballet Theater acquired a highly-regarded ballet school in Richardson in 2006, which has since become the Texas Ballet Theater School Dallas Academy, the official Dallas training arm of Texas Ballet Theater.
