Courtney Stohlton

   

Ms. Stohlton was born in San Jose, CA. She started her ballet training at Oakland Ballet and then later continued her studies with Ballet West Academy. During the summers she would attend prestigious ballet intensives on scholarships including American Ballet Theatre, School of American Ballet, The Washington Ballet School, Pacific North West Ballet, Orlando Ballet and Texas Ballet Theater. Courtney was accepted into The University of Utah’s Ballet Company, Utah Ballet, as a concurrent student and finished her training there on The William C. Christensen Scholarship. Ms. Stohlton’s professional career began as a guest artist with Aspen Santa Fe. Later, she joined Orlando Ballet for one season and then continued on to Cuban Classical Ballet for two seasons. Courtney has traveled en tour with different companies performing many ballets including Paquita and Swan Lake in Korea, Japan and Spain. She is now in her second season with Texas Ballet Theater.
