A native of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Meredith Broussard trained at Baton Rouge Ballet Theater, while spending summers studying with Royal Ballet in London, School of American Ballet, Kaatsbaan and Texas Ballet Theater School. Ms. Broussard is a recent graduate of the trainee program at Joffrey Ballet of Chicago, where she was one of few selected to perform and tour with the company. Ms. Broussard recently returned to Baton Rouge Ballet Theater to guest in her favorite role "Arabian" in The Nutcracker. In her spare time, Ms. Broussard is working on her Gyrotonic certification. This is her second season with Texas Ballet Theater.
