The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience, preferably within performing arts organizations of comparable size and scope; outstanding communication and team building skills; demonstrated understanding of sales and customer service.   The Box Office Assistant Manager is a primary point of contact for outstanding patron service providing a high quality experience for all patrons from initial contact through the building of an ongoing and repeat relationship.  This position is also responsible for Box Office Ticket operations, providing oversight for the daily activities required for the accurate processing, handling, distribution, reconciliation and documentation of all ticket sales, memberships, patron concerns and reports through the Tessitura customer relationship management software.  The Box Office Assistant Manager partners with the entire staff to generate enthusiasm and build beneficial relationships with patrons, volunteers and community members to positively impact attendance at performances, to expand subscriptions, memberships and donations, and to increase community engagement.

A Certified Athletic Trainer for Texas Ballet Theater is responsible for managing the treatment and care of all dancer injuries and injury prevention. The incumbent maintains medical records, documents physicals, coordinates medical appointments and provides ongoing screening and conditioning for professional dancers. 

The Certified Athletic Trainer has decision-making skills to make treatment assessments based on quick injury evaluation, the ability to analyze injuries and convert data into meaningful medical chart reports, and effective interpersonal skills to communicate both in person and in writing with dancers, doctors, medical personnel, Ballet administration and the general public. 

The Certified Athletic Trainer for Texas Ballet Theater will work with UNTHSC doctors and be required to adhere to the clinic’s policies and procedures.  This individual is expected to meet the clinic’s professional, clinical, technical, communication and documentation requirements and standards and to make decisions based upon established guidelines.
